Light In The Darkness Abstract Contemporary Horse Painting By Colorado Artist Jennifer Morrison

Light In the Darkness
This Painting Will Be On Display At The Pro Rodeo Hall Of Fame Museum In Colorado Springs, Colorado April 1st.
It Was One Month Ago Today I saw my husband's body.  We discovered him early in the morning.  I am still in disbelief.  I received the death certificates finally, yet I didn't want to see them.  We have never been apart this long before.  The longest span of being apart was when he had AutoCad training in Alabama for one week.  That's the longest we had ever been away from each other, one week.  Now it's been a month.  It feels like the memorial service was yesterday.   WHY WHY WHY?  I hate depression.  I hate antidepressants.  I never saw it coming.  He NEVER threatened to take his life.

Abstract Horse Painting Equine Contemporary Palette Knife Art By Colorado Artist Jennifer Morrison, Despair

Abstract Horse Palette Knife Equine Painting
"Despair"
I painted this painting a few days after my husband passed away.  Blue was his favorite color, and purple is mine.  Yet, there is light involved..... Light is always there even during your darkest moments.  This painting is packed with emotion.  Study it... Look at it... There is more to it than meets the eye.

I Am Okay

Sorry to have worried so many people.  I am doing well.  I spent a couple of days in the hospital and my body and health are back on track.  I am currently seeing a Christian counselor who is helping me and my family deal with this tragedy.  Thank you to everyone for your kind words, support, and concern.  Thank you to my family and friends for all of your support!  I love you!!!

Blessings,

Jennifer
