Ocean Prime Restaurant Denver, Colorado Artist Jennifer Morrison Contemporary Horse And Western Paintings

"Cowgirl Runway"
Commissioned Artwork For Ocean Prime Restaurant
You can see from this photo how large this area is!  The Painting Is 4ft By 4ft.

We made it to downtown Denver to the Ocean Prime Restaurant. I was thrilled to see that as soon as you walk into the door and look to the left, there is the lounge, and there is my painting on the back wall!

 Another Piece Of My Artwork!?!
"Cool Breeze"
I was surprised to find a print of my painting "Cool Breeze" hanging in the ladies room.
I knew I sold a print, but I had NO idea it was the Ocean Prime Restaurant who purchased it!  That was a nice surprise!

Enjoy!

Happy Little Trees Studio has left a new comment on your post "Ocean Prime Restaurant, Denver Colorado, Contemporary Fine Artist":
Fantastic and well deserved! Too wild that they bought a print from you too. Your art seems to be a good fit for them.

Abstract Horse Painting, The Spirit Of Texas By Contemporary Equine Artist Jennifer Morrison

The Spirit Of Texas
Abstract Horse Palette Knife Painting
I have a few collectors in Texas, so this is my tribute to them!  Notice the Texas State Flag hidden in the lower left hand corner of the palette knife strokes.  I came up with this idea trying to think how to combine a tribute of the state of Texas and my collectors in the painting - what better than the state flag!  This painting is a spin off of my popular "Santa Fe Horses" painting.  This one is for the people of Texas!  Enjoy!

The Horse Race That Should Have Happened, But Never Was Sketch By Colorado Artist Jennifer Morrison

The Race That Should Have Happened, But Never Was..
Can you guess WHO these two horses are?  It would have been an extremely fantastic event this last year, however it never happened.  This is the sketch and the painting will start later.  I have another canvas I am prepping for a different race horse painting that I need to complete first.  My collectors are starting to call me Zennifer - after Zenyatta!  HEY!  What a compliment!! (Okay, that was a hint...)

Zennifer,
About the above sketch: YOU know I know which race and what two horses they are, but I don't want to spoil the fun, so I'll keep my mouth closed (quite hard for me, as you know). I am SO excited to see the finished piece (I really love these "painting-in-" views!)-feel free to e-mail them to me (HINT)! And I am REALLY excited about the one you are getting ready to start of our Lady Z!

With love and prayers,

Kelly

Thank You Both For Your Kind Words!!   Zennifer

Zenyatta Race Horse Realism Sketch By Contemporary Colorado Artist Jennifer Morrison

Zenyatta Sketch
This will be a 20x16 Inch Oil Painting.  I am about half finished with it now.  It will be realism.  Realism is a long task with lots of tiny intricate details.  Layers of paint must dry then touched again.  She is the Queen Of Racing, and that might be the title of the painting!

My Daughter Jenna Morrison entered a contest for her age group 13-18 and won champion for this book!  It is now being published through Amazon.com.  She is such a talented writer.  She had her first story published at the age of 11 in the local newspaper.  This story was written at the age of 14.  The ending is so shocking, nobody that has read it could guess what would happen!
Congratulations, Jenna!  Way to go, girl!  I'm so proud of you!

Abstract Horse Paintings And Contemporary Horse Paintings By Jennifer Morrison On Exibition At The Madden Museum Of Art

Jennifer Morrison And Hillary Reed

Hillary Is The Museum Director At The Madden Museum Of Art.  I was surprised and thrilled to be personally invited to participate in this exhibition.
The reception is January 14th from 4:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.  Join us and see all the wonderful artwork for the "This Is Colorado" Exhibition!

I have decided against the two large horse paintings in the museum, as the artwork is now hanging in a restaurant and the owners of the restaurant appreciate having the art.  I decided to substitute those with my newest paintings, "Blue Mystique" and "Tuscan Dreams".  My "Zenyatta" painting is on display as well.
The paintings are available for sale through the art museum.  Below is one of the paintings available for purchase.
