A Tribute To Marcia Baldwin And Her Painting, "Two Spirits".  Every artist has been influenced or encouraged to pursue their art from another artist.

Marcia is noted for adding color, softness and creativity to her paintings.  Her artwork is AMAZING!  I asked her permission and she allowed me to paint my own version of her painting "Two Spirits".  This was quite a learning experience, yet so thrilling and intimidating at the same time!  She is a "master of oils" as I call her.  She truly knows how to manipulate and manuver the colors perfectly.

Early in 2010, it was announced that Zenyatta would finally meet Horse of the Year Rachel Alexandra, who had not raced since winning the Woodward on September 5, on the track in the Apple Blossom Invitational on April 9 at Oaklawn Park Race Track and would not race in the Dubai World Cup. The Apple Blossom Handicap was changed to an invitational for this renewal of the race. There was also talk about having a series of three races over the 2010 racing season in which Zenyatta and Rachel would meet, almost like a Triple Crown revolving around the two horses. However, the day after Rachel Alexandra lost the Grade III New Orleans Ladies Stakes at Fair Grounds Race Course in New Orleans on March 13 to Zenyatta's stablemate Zardana, her connections announced that she would not run in the Apple Blossom Invitational.
