Jennifer Morrison is an imaginative, diversified artist. Her paintings are driven by the passion and love of horses. The unique way she depicts the horses is incredible. Utilizing the genres of abstract, expressionism, impressionism, and realism is one of a kind. I love the colors she uses, almost rainbow like, to show the horse coming out of the darkness. The fine brush strokes remind me of the same strokes Monet uses. Monet is such an inspiration to a lot of artists . They way he pays attention on how light effects each subject and what color it might give off. Jennifer does this but in her own way, by messing around with the colors, which the abstract side of her comes out. You would not exactly see all that rainbow color at night but it shows how much love and passion she has for these remarkable creatures. She carries this technique throughout all her paintings.
Seesa, I just have to say a big "Thank You" for this wonderful comment! Being compared to Monet is a wonderful compliment! Incredibly enough, I was thinking Monet throughout the whole process of this painting. It is difficult to keep the colors bright, while at the same time blending and abstracting the horse into the painting. Each stroke has to have fresh, bright paint on the brush to pull off this technique. Your comment has brightened my day!
Thank You!
